YAY, Greek mythology! For those of you with Netflix memberships, Jim Henson's the Storyteller is available for instant viewing and features many of the myths we are studying in conjunction with Rick Riordan's The Lightning Thief. Practice analyzing bar graphs here.

Who is Mrs. Rdz?
I currently teach fourth grade bilingual at an urban elementary school in Texas. I hold a Masters degree in Bilingual/Bicultural Education, and am certified bilingual (Spanish) for early childhood-8th grade. I am also certified in English as a Second Language (ESL) Kindergarten-12th grade and Art, all levels. This is my eighth year of teaching, and my previous experience includes teaching middle school Spanish, bilingual first grade, dual language second grade, and five years teaching fifth grade bilingual inclusion. I am currently a candidate for National Board Certification and am constantly looking for ways to improve my practice. I am married to a very talented and patient web designer and am the mother of a beautiful, spunky one-year-old girl.
